Where are you located?
Blue Ridge, Georgia - approximately 90 minutes North
of Atlanta - MAP
Many of our cabins are located on gravel roads
and some one lane roads. You should not need a
special vehicle,
but we do suggest that you leave your sports car or
other low sitting vehicle at home. Please check with
us first
before towing a trailer or vehicle behind your car,
we will advise on accessibility.
- What
are the amenities of the cabins?
You
will find a listing of all the amenities and a level
by level description in the individual page of each
cabin

on-line are recent photos of the individual cabins.
What you see is really what you get!
- Do
you have pet friendly cabins?
Yes,
several cabins offer the opportunity to bring your
family pet , with a pet fee - We do ask that you do
not
leave your pet unattended - please leave in a crate
or kennel - a pet in an unfamiliar place can be full
of anxiety

- Are
the cabins close to one another?
No, our cabins are all privately owned homes and are
located throughout Fannin, Gilmer and Union Counties.
- Are
the cabins secluded?
All
of North Georgia is growing - whether the cabin is
located on a stream or has a great mountain view,
there will be other cabins in the area, some closer
than others. We can not guarantee seclusion.
- Are
there age restrictions on renting a cabin?
Yes,
you must be of "legal and responsible age"
so we will not rent to anyone under 21 years
old.
The person making the reservation must be one of the
guests who remains with the rental party
throughout their stay. Parents, please
do not call to rent for high school or college parties
as guests will
be asked for proof of age at time of check-in.

How
do I pay for my reservation?
We only take credit/debit cards - Personal Visa
and Personal Mastercard are the cards we accept.
At the time you make your reservation, a credit
card number is required to complete your reservation.
Your credit card is charged the entire cost of your
reservation the business day before you arrive.
Holiday
reservations are charged at least five days prior
to your arrival.

- Can
I make changes to my reservation?
Yes, changes can be made to an existing reservation,
changes to your reservation are very time consuming
as they require updates to multiple systems and schedules.
We will gladly make one date or cabin related
change to your reservation free of charge.
However, each additional change will result in a $35.00
fee.
Rescheduling is a courtesy - that has restrictions
- please call the office for details.
Excessive changes to your reservation are not permitted.
- Can
I cancel my reservation?
If you choose to cancel your reservation, you ARE
CHARGED a minimum of a One-Night Rental and
you must notify Black Bear Cabin Rentals in writing
- The Cancellation Policy takes effect the
moment that the reservation call ends.
NO REASON excuses you from the Cancellation Policy.
Addtional Cancellation Policies are explained in your
Rental Agreement.
- What
will I receive when making a reservation?
After you make a reservation - you will receive(1)
A Confirmation and (2) A Rental Agreement that
needs to be either mailed or faxed back to Black Bear
Cabin Rentals within 24 to 48 Hours of making
your reservation.
- Do
we offer special rates?
We keep our rates as low as possible throughout the
year. We do not raise our rates during high season
or
holidays, so we do not offer ongoing specials. There
is one exception, when you rent for a week, you
receive the seventh night free. We do realize
that many of our competitors offer ongoing specials.
We can
not match their rates. We can only say that if a "deal"
looks too good to be true ....
- Is
firewood provided?
Yes,
cabins having wood-burning fireplaces do furnish wood
during the months of (September 15
thru May 15).
Please be conservative in your use of the firewood,
as cabins do have Central Heat and Air.
- Are
hot tubs emptied before each rental?
No,
hot tubs are checked, filters are cleaned and chemicals
are added after each rental, and totally emptied
when necessary.
We believe in conserving water. Our cabins are on
well systems that could easily dry up
if we are not diligent in conserving water.
- What
do we need to bring?
Your food, clothing and personal items you use on
a daily basis - the cabins provide linens and
are fully equipped.
- What
if we have a problem at the cabin?
When
you make a reservation you are given a 24/7 emergency
number to call if you have an emergency.
- When
is check-in and check-out?
Please
help our cleaning staff by following check-in (3:00
pm) and check-out (11:00 am) times - they are making
sure your cabin is ready.
- Can
I check-in to my cabin after your office is closed?
Yes, in your confirmation there are instructions
- telling you how to check-in - after the office
is closed.
Office Hours: Monday thru Thursday 9:00
am to 5:00 pm EST and Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST
- Do
we have restaurants?
Yes, we have all the major fast food chains, and we
have several good local restaurants.
- Do
we have grocery stores?
Yes, we have an Ingles, Food Lion, Super Saver, and
Save-A-Lot.
- Do
we have liquor by the drink in restaurants?
No,
Fannin County is a dry county. You can obtain beer
and wine Monday thru Saturday at local area
establishments.
Our log cabins are perfect for family vacations,
romantic weekend getaways,
honeymoons, anniversary celebrations.
